Speaking of Updates…TAADAAA TU2

Today at work was rough.  I did ENTIRELY too much drinking this passed weekend, and no where near enough recovery.  Today will be nothing compared to tomorrow for tonight at midnight the much anticipated Title Update 2 will be forthcoming.  For those who don’t know, TU2, is a major update to Halo 3 and pwning n00bs is a favorite pastime of mine.  Needless to say, I’ll probably be sleeping from about now until midnight just to store up the necessary energy for the destruction that is EmpiricalM on the sticks!

Actually, now that I think about it…lets make a prediction…

In the last 24 hours a few more than 647,000 people have been playing Halo 3.  And there are 120,905 people online playing right now.  I predict that at the stroke of midnight all the worlds children and gamers will converge in front of their 360′s and power on their systems (or power cycle for the ones who play consistently) and DL the update.  More specifically, w/o the BS, I’m saying that at least 420,000 players will be online playing Halo 3 at or by 12:15 am.  If anyone cares to validate my prediction, which no one will, actually I probably won’t even check, but if anyone wants to, visit www.bungie.net and check out the ticker.
